"It is good people who make good places."
- Anna Sewell
Dark

The good dark filters
And focuses sight
Like a plow at work before dawn,
Lines drawn in black earth
More beautiful than words
Drawn in black ink.
But, like fools,
We clamor for light,
Frantic to be seen and heard
When we should be planting
Seeds beneath the frosted soil.
